TheYWCA Central Virginia Design House is a showcase of local designers, contractors and vendors! All proceeds from this amazing event—put on solely by volunteers—will directly support the YWCA programs and local community.
With the help of some amazing people and partners in our community, the YWCA of Central Virginia presents its 2nd Design House to support the mission and programs of the YWCA.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am - 6pm
Sunday 12pm - 4pm
Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Single Visit $20
Multi-Visit Ticket $35
(allows one person to enter the house as often as you like
and the ability to enjoy all the seminars. It does not apply to Special Events)

Meet the designers and be among the first to see the 2016 YWCA Central Virginia Design House! The reception will feature catering from Jimmy's on the James. Silent Auction items will be available.
Tickets for this event are $75 per person, available in advance.
SPECIAL EVENTS (Requires a specific Special Event Ticket)
Tuesday, November 15, 6:30-8:30 pm: Paint-n-Sip. Only 20 tickets available for a special evening of painting, wine & desserts catered by Kathleen O’Byrne’s Irish Tea Room. Take home your holiday painting. Only 20 tickets available. Please call Caroline Hudson at 847-7751 or email@example.com for reservations.
Sunday, November 20, 4:30-6:30 pm: Enjoy a Mother-Daughter Tea provided by Kathleen O’Byrne’s Irish Tea Room. Perfect for mothers and daughters. Only 50 tickets available.
Wednesday, November 30, 12:00-2:00 pm. Fashion Show Luncheon. View fabulous fashions from Gladiola Girls, The Columns, and cabi while enjoying lunch catered by Jimmy’s on the James. Only 50 tickets available.
Tickets for Special Events are $35 for each event, and include admission to the house. Limited tickets available for each event. Regular or multi-day Tour tickets are not applicable.
On site boutique and Christmas shop sponsored by The Farm Basket.
Food, drink, strollers, photography, pets, high heels, and children under 8 (with the exception of infants in carriers) are not permitted in the house. We apologize that the house is not handicap accessible.
All proceeds from Design House are used to help the YWCA's mission to eliminate racism,
empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

For over a hundred years, the YWCA of Central Virginia has been serving the needs of our community. Today we serve six counties and Lynchburg in Central Virginia through the Domestic Violence Prevention Center (DVPC) with two shelters including Frannie’s House, the Children’s Supervised Visitation Center, the Sexual Assault Response Program (SARP), the Racial Justice Program, the YW Lead Mentoring and Leadership Program, and the Women's Residential Program located in the YWCA's historic downtown Lynchburg building, and the Women's Residential Program located in the YWCA's historic downtown Lynchburg building.
