The Charlottesvile All-stars paved the way to bring quality blues music to this area for years, opening for acts like Muddy Waters, BB King, Albert Collins… the list goes on. Paul Hammond, Steve Riggs and boogie woogie piano great Bruce Courson join me on the luckiest of days at the Ellington (Friday, the 13th). Oh yea, I’ll be leaning on the usual suspects as well.
