Join us this year to learn about the musical history of Appomattox! Hear from a bugler who served here in the Civil War; a famous singer/song writer; and the" banjo man" Joel Sweeney plus three others. All new stories, 3 including live music!
Please allow 1 hour to complete your tour and enjoy refreshments. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour. Check in is in the main parking lot at the National Park. Park staff will be on-hand after the tour to answer questions. You may bring a flashlight, but it must remain off while each performer is speaking. Wear comfortable shoes, you will be walking and standing. Tours will happen as scheduled, light rain or shine. Heavy rain cancels, no refunds. Your reservation is your tax deductible donation.
