Randolph College Dance presents the ANNUAL SPRING DANCE CONCERT;
Contemporary and classical dances choreographed by visiting artists and students.
Smith Hall Theatre, Smith Memorial Bldg.
Admission: $8 general, $4 students, free for children under 12;
(Reception following Opening Night performance only in Alice Ashley Jack Room, Smith Memorial Bldg.)

These performances are being dedicated to the memory of visiting artist Rebecca Jung who passed away on September 6, 2011 less than two weeks before her RC residency was to have begun. Her last residency was in April 2011 during the last two weeks of the spring semester. Her death from advanced cancer was devastating and shocking to the entire dance community. The 2012 Annual Spring Dance Concert will include student and visiting artist choreography, in particular, we will feature Takehiro Ueyama’s “Footsteps in the Snow”, a stunningly beautiful requiem that Mr. Ueyama says reflects on the poignant reality that "nothing is permanent, nothing's immortal, but we are going to leave something behind."
