The Maier Museum at Randolph College Margrit Lewczuk is one of eight contemporary artists who received the 2013 American Academy of Arts and Letters awards. Since the late 1970s, she has shown her work extensively in both group and solo exhibitions throughout the country. Her first solo museum exhibition was at the Maier Museum of Art in 2004 and in 2013, her painting Chrysalis III (2012) joined the Randolph College collection as a gift from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, New York.
