Party like it's 1775! Join us in the beautiful ballroom at The Virginian Hotel, where you'll be whisked away to Jane Austen's time to celebrate her 250th birthday! Your arrival will be announced as you descend the grand staircase; then, enjoy dancing, drinks, and delicious food, along with some Regency-themed activities. You are encouraged to wear your best Regency attire. 

Jane Austen used her keen wit to try to improve her society, especially for women; we celebrate her ongoing legacy in our own service to the women and families in our community.

YWCA Central Virginia has a 113-year history of serving our community. Our mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. Each year, we fulfill this mission in Lynchburg and its surrounding counties by providing safe houses for families fleeing abuse, running a 24/7 hotline, offering sexual assault response and prevention services, providing training for police officers, and running the only supervised visitation center in the region. Your support of this event will enable us to continue to make our communities safer and break the cycle of abuse.
